Blowing in the wind

No sooner did the sun come out today when the wind got up and the rain started. I lost count of how many times this happened.

We had a busy day. I filled the boot with cardboard, glass and old electrical appliances and called at the refuse place on our way to Hexham General. Mum had been fitted in to see the Rheumatologist to discuss the diagnosis and management of her polymyalgia rheumatica. It was a very helpful consultation. Mum now has even more tablets to take because she is Vitamin D deficient and she has to sit in the sun for 30 minutes every day, perhaps that will slow her down!


We had lunch at M & S, did some clothes and food shopping too. Then we bought bedding plants at Down to Earth.

I managed a short walk after dinner.  The Queen Anne's lace is lining the roadsides. It was blowing about but I like the soft effect this produces.
