Things aren't always what they seem

Coming back home tonight I had a craving for a bag of chips with salt and vinegar. I hadn't been to this little chip shop for several months and was amazed to see it had undergone a complete make over and looked lovely.
It was owned by a friend of my dads and there used to a framed newspaper cutting of him and his wife on the wall ... However it was now gone.
I took that to be a sign that he had sold the shop and it was the new owners who had done the facelift. Imagine my delight when I spotted this painting on the tiles of a boat which had his name on it ... Guess it wasn't sold after all !! Things aren't always what they seem
