Starting Out...as winners!

Yay!! Tonight the fabulous Starting Out HMP & YOI Grampian have just won the Money for Life UK Challenge 2015 People's Prize!

It's been so fantastic to support the group - and all the others who took part in the Challenge - we are so proud of all of them.

The support workers were there in person to pick up the trophy at the event in London - and were just so so excited to be heading back to tell the boys that all their hard work, ideas, dedication and commitment had paid off. I'm so proud of them and thrilled they have been recognised in this way.

And extra special mention too for the Scottish overall winners - and finalists for the overall UK challenge - The Bright Sparkz from Fife Gingerbread. They lost out to the Welsh group in the end but they wowed the judges and audience, and gave an outstanding presentation. What an inspirational group of young Mums they are!

An amazing end to a pretty amazing day. And the event was held in the London Film Museum - where the 007 Skyfall car is! But even it couldn't compete with this lovely lot for my blip tonight!
