Blowing off some steam

Only a few things can cheer me up from a day like I've had today.

Amelia is one but she's off at a sleepover tonight, thought about a bike ride but fancy a long one tomorrow and want to save my legs.

There was only one thing for it, dusted off the Caterham and went for a quick blast before the sun went down.

It was exactly what I needed, how can I ever think of selling it. Engine was running so sweet, exhaust note bouncing off the hedgerows, music blasting through my helmet speakers. Perfect!

Photo is of the walk up from Bellmont woods back to the carpark. Don't think my XC bike is even worth taking there any more. All the jumps are now massive!
