Storm Cell

I like the way these storm cells just grow and grow like Topsy! This one brought some rain right down Hiway 93 and blew over my house with fierce winds and a smattering of hail with rain following.
Getting the studio and gardens ready for the tour that begins June 5th has been like a see-saw....run in from the rain: dust the studio....rain stopped: go out and plant some more annuals or split the perennials or dig a hole. Rain comes...back into the studio. Or office to do something for the MPAA show on the 12th. Actually, it's been going quite smoothly, once you get into Mother Nature's rhythmic dance. Some friends have come to help with the heavy work in the garden; so all is well and it's been so wonderful to have them over.
Now in this evening's hours, we sit back to see if any of the other babies in the trees are fledging. There are some Evening Grosbeaks that seem ready.
