The light was awesome

Ok the last time I wrote this it got kicked out.
It's never as funny the second time and I get so ticked off its hard to think funny. And yes I forgot to copy and save.

Today was a strange day at work. We had a meeting that got moved 4 times. I asked if we were going to be paid by the mile. They said no....too bad.
I bought a new pair of sneakers today. I seem to go through them at an alarming rate. Sometimes I wear my hiking boots when I walk. Unfortunately when I am wearing a dress I look a little Beverly Hillbillyish.
Speaking of the Beverly Hillbilly's (a show from the 60s) I have this friend from Down Under who asked if we all have that kind of accent.
Seriously?
What the heck do you guys get on TV from the U.S.?
Oh I forgot and Duck Dynasty. Trust me even they don't talk that way. It is fake. Oh except for the homophobic comments made by one of them. Alarmingly his views. seem to be genuine for him.
But I digress
Anyway these sneakers are awesome.
I had a patient today who was a bit hard of hearing. When I mentioned it to him as we have to document it, he got a bit cranky. His wife said" you have to excuse him. He suffers from testosterone poisoning." It took me a minute.
I told her that it has been my experience that men are never hard of hearing, wait for it.........they usually just have wives that mumble.
She loved that. Get this. He just looked at me and said" what?"
Seriously I can't make this stuff up!
