Cedar Waxwing on Bethany Lake
I spent some time at the Lake this morning...and had some new bird guests I had never seen there before, the cedar waxwings! As I was standing there, I felt a shadow pass over me, and I looked up, but didn't see anything. Then out of nowhere one of the bald eagles was swooping down over the lake to grab a fish...too fast for me! I got it leaving, but missed the big shot. It must have been behind me on a tree all that time I was standing there!
I had a great luncheon with the gals who worked on the Parkinson's Auction committee with me...it was such a lovely luncheon and a beautiful day to sit outdoors!
