By the Filzenkogel

Took the 160-person cable car up to the top of the mountain today, donned my crampons and explored a few mountains including the Filzenkogel.

Hard to believe I could be walking on snow over a metre thick in shorts and a t-shirt. Despite sun cream, my legs ended the day very red!

After the walk, instead of getting the cable car down, I decided to walk all the way down from 2200m to 600m, 1600m descent. Then went for a well-earned soak in the hot tub
