NOT jumping for joy......

.......because boring household duties are the order of the day......oh, and wading through an online planning application for the building plot (where the pub used to stand) at the bottom of the street and deciding whether I'm going to object on the grounds of 'overdevelopment of the site' and/or 'unsympathetic design'........it's a tough call......

EDIT......y'know I've decided to NOT object, the footprint of the new development is less than what was there originally and the design, though 'modern', isn't horrendous......I suspect they won't last as long as the surrounding housing stock though.........
