Yellow River, Yellow River

The searing drought of at least 7 days was broken today by a little rain.

The rain water flows down the road to form a river/lake. Thanks to all the trees in full pollen (Laburnham, etc) the air, cars, roads, and other surfaces are heavily dusted with the stuff.

The rain then washes it down the river to the end of the road to form this yellow lake. 

For once in my photographic life, I like the yellow lines which enhanced the effect.

One of the chorus lines of the song Yellow River is:

"Yellow river yellow river is in my mind and in my eyes"


I can't help feeling that should read...."in my nose and in my eyes"
