Chopin, Lincoln ,FCUM in Red , White & Black

Whilst riding along Deansgate this afternoon I spotted the statue of Chopin ,but , he was wearing a scarf .Curious so  this had to be blip time . Some people actually believed it was the Polish Flag ! Having decided to make a right and go to Albert Square I came across the statue of Lincoln . Again draped in the same colours . There was a man and his son and something made me ask what it all meant .I couldn't have asked a better person Tonight a new football stadium opened  in Moston. It's the home of the newly created. none league club FCUM .A new but amateur team who are supported by many breakaways from Manchester United . Their reasons being mainly that the current ( American) owners of Man U have made the cost of a ticket so high it has stopped many lovers of the sport getting to a game .Also with this new team each person who is a supporter has a vote and is responsible . It's taken 10 years to get all ready and I wish them well .The scarves are their colours and several Manchester statues had been decorated in honour of tonights match . FCUM against Benfica Lisbon . Wish I'd known earlier .I would have been there cheering .
