Rainy day sand pit

Fun making patterns in the sand in the rain. We had a nice trip to the library and some wet fun in the park - until he bumped his mouth on the seesaw and was hurt. Milk and a trip to the deli fixed it. Fairly nice afternoon too - lots of telly but he played independently with his toy ark for a good long while too and was happy to climb on the sofa cushions again and to have daddy come home and then have a quick bath before tea. Not very happy at all at teatime - the usual wailing as if it's the end of the world at every little frustration but he was frustrated at anything and everything! Glad to get him to bed.
