Nessa and Dave's Wedding

Headed up to Warwick after work today to go to Nessa and Dave's wedding party. Here's a picture of their climbing themed wedding cake! It was a fantastic evening, Nessa looked beautiful, they both looked so happy and it was great to have a catch up with friends. Before they cut the cake there was a knife dance, an Iranian weddings tradition where the bridesmaids dance with the cake knife in exchange for money from the groom / onlookers By the end of the night we all had some Iranian bank notes, apparently each worth about 20p. It was good fun and I think I might be disappointed if that doesn't happen next time I go to a wedding! Congratulations Nessa and Dave! Here's to many happy years ahead!
