Set free and in the wild..
Well we let them go today at about lunchtime. It was bright, sunny and a bit of a breeze . In total I think we released about 52 of them ( it started getting a bit difficult to keep track:) .
It was really interesting ....took them a few minutes to realise they could fly then they disappeared really quickly , camouflaged against the foliage and the bark on the ground.
Children and teachers both very excited!
This blip ends the series ....I actually felt quite sad letting them go ...especially the little one with deformed wing but we've had such fun watching them
