A grand send off

Today was the funeral of my nan after having passed away a few weeks ago at the grand age of 94. The funeral today, I have to say, was one of the most beautiful and poignant ones I've ever been to. 

From the beginning with a horse drawn carriage, to being led down the final road by a scottish piper, with scottish songs and music throughout, the whole event was a wonderful send off for our nan.
A true scot, even after living in the Midlands for so long, I think she would have loved it.
Here's to you Nan, and to a life well lived. Love from us all.
