Very stormy seas

Well we so far have managed to miss out on the wild weather and wind that happened down south and was predicted to head north. However when I got home from Grafton this afternoon I headed in to the beach to check the seas and they are huge. This is the view from up on the hill top looking down towards the two breakwalls and this is the entrance to the Bar through the north and south breakwalls. These walls are quite high structures and you can see in this shot the waves are absolutely swamping them. I wouldn't like to be trying to head back in the boat through the bar in these seas.
It's not a very good shot but it is the only one that actually shows the waves swamping the wall.
