Seasoned Abode.

What is it that makes an old building or structure stand alone in its accomplishment? Could it be our ever changing, disregarding attitude about things that have history? We certainly have a disrespectful past when it comes to recognizing the invaluable assets that our seasoned citizens possess. Maybe we're just too busy to slow down and appreciate what stands before us.

This home has been winking at me for some time as I pass it a few times each week. Now it has a place in my journal. A place to be appreciated, remembered and enjoyed. We could all only hope for the same.
