We just can't help ourselves

We have a house full of books but as the local charity "Lifeline" was having a book fair we thought we should attend and support them. The top 6 are mine and Bob chose the others. I have read a couple of Kate Mortons books and enjoyed them. Captain Corelli's Mandolin is a classic that I have read and think I need to revisit. The others may be good or not so good because they say you can't judge a book by its cover.

We took a load of old timber and metal to the recycling depot. They have a shop where people can purchase your junk and give the money to charity. We are feeling very charitable today, we give some away and but buy in more. No wonder we have an overcrowded house.
The day was cool, cloudy and dismal.
