Fire and Ice

The snow went right around us today everywhere but Timaru. Flooding on the West Coast and roads closed. Marie was excited about wanting to go and walk in the snow, its a novelty for us to see snow coming from Invercargill we never got a lot of snow very rarely did it ever snow. We went for a drive out to Geraldine and there was a light dusting on the hills. We then drove out to Fairlie and there was a bit more snow, a nice balnketing over the hills and paddocks,the tree's looked like someone had sprinkled iceing sugar over the evrgreen branches.
