Dull and grey

When the day started off with heavy dull cloud cover, there was little hope for sunshine to come along . .
The main news was about the two approaching cold fronts that promised snow in the western cape . . . winter has arrived at last.
In this dullness, a blip had to be procured from somewhere, and lo and behold, as the camera focused, a ray of sunlight appeared as if from nowhere.
