Alstroemeria

First alstroemeria to flower, loads of buds on all of them but just a couple of flowers yet. Useful cut and come again flower, last ages in a vase., stunning colours.

Bit of an emergency blip this.  Bird feeders have been moved so that they are not hiding behind the apple tree ( no nagging was used in this process - well not much ).  Got so carried away with being able to watch a family of starlings feeding the young, that I did not notice that  I had not changed the camera settings I had been experimenting with and had left it on a small image size.  Great shots but too small to use. :(
