Dunstable Down-ed

With a booming forecast, and a desire to have a long flight to the coast this time, I headed to Dunstable.

Unfortunately it wasn't to be.  Light and scratchy most of the time even for the paragliders, with only occasional stronger cores of lift coming through, I eventually succumbed to gravity and landed in the soggy bottom landing field.  Which was probably a big clue as to why the thermals weren't well formed, small, and less frequent.

Other parts of the country had a good day though, notably the north, east, and south it seems.  Still, gave it a crack and thanks to J for coming out to retrieve as was planned!
