Give them cake

Funny old day - got up, had a bath and then popped down to the 'Simple Things' cafe for breakfast. It's a new initiative the house next to the Encounter Church that used to be the vicarage has been converted to a cafe, radio Winchcombe studio, food bank and general drop in centre. On Saturday mornings they have a build your own butties. One sausage and bacon sandwich and mug of tea later we took Hetty out for a stroll.
Then off to Cheltenham fir some DIY materials and to try and find an old chest of drawers.
Had to go to Tewkesbury to find the chest of drawers and then we had to take a piece of interior trim from the boot that it would fit in the boot.
Came home Clare went back to Cheltenham for a quilting thing and I watched the Rugby final. Hooray Bath lost.
Now watching the FA cup final.
The blip is the wonderful selection of cakes on offer at The Boston Tea Party cafe in Cheltenham - I opted for a piece of scrumble and a flat white- it's a hard life!
