Corfe Castle

It was quite a long train journey today, almost 4 hours to London, a quick dash amid the cup final crowds on the underground, then another 2.5 to Marian's nearest station. Needless to say, it was a sunny day which is frustrating being trapped on a hot train and not outside.

However after a cup of tea and a bit of Marian's homemade banana cake, we got out for a couple of hours across the common and up a hill to the next village.

This is a picture of Corfe Castle from the common as we reach Marian's house, just out of shot on the right. It's a shame the sun has gone and the forecast is rain for our Race for Life.
