Craignethan Castle

Originally built in about 1530 for Sir James Hamilton of Finnart although he didn't get to enjoy it for long as he was executed for treason 10 years later.

A couple of sirloin steaks from the excellent Mr Ovens in Biggar are currently looking like the makings of a decent dinner. The pub was heaving tonight (it being the aftermath of the Scottish FA Cup Final) which proved to be a puzzling experience for Kylie. She took it all in with good humour, though.
