Don't try this at home

Mr F and I were in town and this gentleman from Finland was entertaining the crowd with his fire juggling and banter.
 

The blue tits are not about today.  The nest is quiet.  The bird feeders today were full of long tailed tits chattering and blackbirds, fluttering furiously so that they could hang on.  I wonder what happened?
