I see you!

We own a little piece of property near Craig, Colorado and drove by today to check on it and see what was happening.  

A mama antelope had just dropped her second baby in the meadow as we drove up! She ran off to lead us (as predators) away from her babies and the babies laid down in the tall grass as she must have told them to stay put!    I HAD to get out of the truck to get closer, I got as close as I dared but when one tried standing up to move, I turned around and got away fast as it didn't want it to run.   It did lay back down but we did not see the mom as we drove off.  I do hope she came right back over the hill.
