Dallas Mountain Road

One of our favorite places to visit. This is in Washington state, looking across the Columbia river into Oregon. John and I climbed a hill, and sat there for along time in the warm brisk wind. You can maybe see our car in the middle of the picture, just off the road. Other than Western Meadowlarks ( the state bird of Oregon), we had the place to ourselves. 
Mt.Hood is in the background. As the summer goes on, the green will all turn to brown.
