Water of Leith Heron

First day commuting to work on the bike. Nice to be out in the morning air rather than on a bus with the heating on and the windows open.

My lunchtime walk was along a small part of the Water of Leith at Bell's Mills weir behind the Scottish Gallery of Modern Art. On the far side of the river, I spotted one of the Water of Leith Herons was stalking for lunch in the rapidly growing vegetation.
