The Pink Army.

The day started grey wet and cold. By the time we got to Newbridge Fields, luckily, the rain had stopped, but it was freezing.  One of my extra photos, is of me doing the warm up. J said, I look as if I am doing the Haka. The other photo is me crossing the start line , and then me showing my medal. The ground was really wet and muddy , and at times very slippery. I completed the course in 47 minutes, which is my personal best. I would like to thank all of you who sponsored me,  and I  have managed to raise  £ 195 to date. Not bad for an old fit   bird like me. When we got back home, I was starving, so J  made a cheese and onion roll, and a coffee. It tasted so good. No dieting for me today.  I am having a  roast chicken dinner later, and a celebratory  bottle of wine. My thanks to you again. You made it all worthwhile.
