Paarl Rock

A typical winter's day in Paarl. The rock above is a solid piece of granite that forms this 'mountain'. There is a granite mine on the one side that has been mined by the Clift Family for generations. The gate at the top of the hill is the entrance to Paarl Girls High school which celebrates it's 140'th birthday next year.
