Hmm..

..A fly.
(Or parasitic wasp maybe?).

It landed on the conifer I was standing beside and was my hasty blip for the day. (No lurky-ing for me today).
As I viewed the image, I thought 'in for a penny, I'll look it up'.
Google it if you will. As one does in these days of 'Find Out Anything and Everything Fast'.
I went for 'Image' search, rather than 'Web', thinking it might be even faster. However...
... The images which sprang up were not only interesting flies and wasps but fleshy parts of people who had been stung or bitten by them.
In a kind of 'Blisters and Swellings R Us' kind of way.

So. (Euw, euw, euw..)
