Dill

I tried to do something indoors with the macro lens today, but ultimately went outdoors, in spite of the heat, and finally settled on this shot of some dill.  

I have worked with my macro lens a lot this month and also with my extension tubes.  I have learned that combining the two doesn't provide a good result and the dof is just too narrow.   The auto extension tubes seem to work better with my other lenses and in the end, for me, the macro lens really provides the best result.  Your mileage may vary.   This was taken with a 90 mm Tamron macro lens.
