Pied Wagtail

I noticed a pair of these as I came back from my sons this afternoon, so I pulled over and watched them collecting grubs and managed to get one or two photographs that were reasonably sharp.   They are such quick little birds and are constantly dipping and bopping they heads and tails.   We used to call them Penny Wagtails, I don't quite know why!!
Another year older today, but definitely not another year wiser!!   I was invited to lunch at my sons, cooked by him and which was delicious I hasten to add.
