Green groceries

The winter moth caterpillars are providing an excellent source of food for all the baby birds nested happily around Dogcorner. Grossly green, green groceries are being delivered to many gaping mouths.


If you missed them yesterday, here are two cute shots of the twins in action. It took one nana, two cousins and two great aunts to do for a few hours what their parents do daily. They are two squirming packages of incredible energy and cuteness. Beautifully cared for, happy and healthy boys.

For the Record,
This day came in hot and muggy. It looks like we may finally get a, as Nora would say, a tempest, bringing much needed rain. Unfortunately it seems that might mean rain for the funeral and burial for our friend Fritz on Tuesday.
