Disturbed!

There are dozens of sparrows in R & P’s garden, many of whom nest in the hedge round the “posh garden”.

I spent the morning and afternoon sewing whilst it rained, then an hour and a half weeding the posh garden when the sun shone. The sparrows were dead miffed at my presence. 

The garden is a bit "packed", so come the autumn I will thin things out and create some new plants for our new garden. Many of the originals came from our old garden in Essex.
