We'd only been reading about Magnolia wilsonii just before we left for a tramp round Harlow Carr.

I spotted it tucked well back off the main drag. I yomped over and I'm afraid, a bit of a grab shot, because I was expecting the shout of "Oi, get back on the path!!" any moment.

I think it's the most beautiful Magnolia I've ever seen.
