New adventures

Two new adventures just about to start in my life.  First is I start a new job today which I am hopeful will work out well.   Secondly, I have just ordered beehives and bees and booked myself on a bee-keeping w/e course later this month.   Have been meaning to do this for ages.  I hope my friend Cora McCarthy doesn't mind but the picture is actually of one of her beehives.  I have gone for polystyrene ones which I will paint to blend in.  They are apparently a lot better for the bees especially in winter as they provide much better insulation and keep the environment drier than traditional wooden hives.  I think this is important here as the bottom of the garden gets very damp in winter.   Will be glad when the next few days are over and I have got into a routine
