Rose-ringed Parakeet

As you can see it's a date bonanza! So much so that the usually very shy Parakeets aren't afraid of being watched through a lens, gorging on dates, every date palm around is decorated with huge hanging bunches of different shades of brown, orange and my favourite red dates. Mangoes and dates are filling the displays at all the local shops, so the sun must have helped those crops.
