Whakatane

The weather was rather atrocious this morning as we drove across to the east coast to visit friends who have newly moved to Whakatane, the rain was so heavy at times that we could hardly see.

Anyway it cleared a bit and enjoyed our lunch visit. Bob has just had an aortic valve replacement and is doing extremely well. The girls went for a wander along the beach as the weather finally cleared after lunch, the surf was pounding in and the clouds above Whale Island made it appear that it had "erupted".

Thanks so much for your kinds comments about "Eve" yesterday, her and Flynn are wonderful kids and we so enjoy spending time with them.
