Balloons and Birthdays

As is usual on birthdays we celebrated with a meal at the Chinese restaurant in Great Dunmow. The meal was not as good as usual and although we have been going there for fifteen years, I doubt we will go again.
 
Today we celebrated two birthdays, Simon whose age we will not mention and Jake, Victoria’s boyfriend who was twenty-one. The meal was followed by champagne and cake at our daughter’s home.
