Bush fire

This is the aftermath of a fire in our neighbours tree last week. Sitting in the garden sunning myself I heard a voice say the tree was on fire. Robert played fireman Sam until the real ones appeared! I like to think our measley hose helped keep the fire from spreading to another neighbour's wooden garage! Had there been the whiff of a wind the fire would have spread and there would have been a lot of damage.
It let us see how easily bush fires start. They say it started by the sun reflecting on a piece of glass.
This is the remains of their garden gate and other rubbish which was in the vicinity.
