A beautiful morning, but it didn't last long. The first shower came before 11 a.m. accompanied by wind. By then I had fed and swept, spread the last two loads of slurry and filled the seed drill. Sowed a little between showers before the ground turned too wet. Then we let the three heifers on to the large paddock from the small one, and again three more out to the small one. One broke from the large paddock to the next, but got it back easily.

P.S. How many heifers do see here?
