Peony

We woke this morning to rain and although it dried up pretty quickly and was warm, it punctuated the hot dry spell that we have had.  That's all set to return tomorrow with temperatures rising over the next few days 24 tomorrow, then, 26, 29,  and 33 come Friday.  So it was good that the garden got a good watering last night. We thought we had pulled out all the peonies that were over-running the herb garden, but this one has made a comeback and brightens up what is otherwise a very green spot!
