North by northwest

Slightly surreal chat with our hostess over breakfast then set off to Ullapool (via House of Bruar). Brighter than we expected en route, but strolling around Ullapool was very chilly. Nice deli (good soup!) and some art galleries and book shops that were worth a bit of a mooch around, then a further drive through very dramatic scenery to Achiltibuie and Polbain. House in a beautiful location but I'll post the view later when it's (hopefully!) sunnier.
Lovely venison steak dinner and quiet evening rediscovering my DSLR camera.....but can't seem to find a way to upload (wrong cable) so I may be stuck with iPhone blips this week.
