First day

A friend of mine once loaned me the book, The Way Of the Owl, by Frank Rivers. The complete title is The Way of the Owl: Succeeding with Integrity in a Conflicted World. The title kept coming to mind today as I received my first chemotherapy treatment. Actually I'm still hooked up to this machine and it's 7:14 pm. I've been here now, since 7am EST! Conflicted, but feeling strong. I have one and half hours to go and then I will go back to my rented home away from home apartment and crash. I'm questioning everything in the most positive and open way I know how and it feels right. Even at its worst, Dana Farber is the best!
