Daylily with Drops

We woke up early in eastern Massachusetts today, to watch Roger Federer finish his French Open match with Gael Monfils.  Marylee is a big fan of Federer, and happily he won easily.  After a stop in Waltham for some personal business, and yet more driving through rain, we arrived home in mid-afternoon. This day lily is just outside our back door--still just the first of a full set of them to bloom.  The drops are a faithful reflection of the past 36 hours; the rain seems to have stopped in the meantime, but more is forecast for tomorrow.
