poppies, poo and polish

well up fairly early, quick coffee then out the back door ( did not want to wake friends staying in room next to front door)...of with the dogs for usual morning stroll with camera, sun was out and although cold was still pleasant..decided to turn away from the town along the coastal path ..soon came upon a cracking clump of wild poppies, stopped to take the above snap, ( not paying attention to my two labs in the process)....started walking away to be confonted with two poo covered muts....needless to say the had wandered through the long grass covered in the local dairy droppings !!!..well walk did not last long..back to the house for a hose down, , more coffee and a large cooked breakfast found out my friend had actually been sitting out the front of the house when I slipped out the back...lol
well time to pack up and as usual gutted the house from top to bottom ( even managed to get my pal to use a duster and polish ( much to the amusement of his wife)..
liked the contrast of colour and the sunlight on the sea...hope you do too..enjoy
