Newly Hatched Birds

This is not an artistic shot today.  And I am okay with that.

I went up to the cabin this evening to stay over night.  I need to meet someone to do a little work for me tomorrow morning.

Upon arriving I could hear the sound of new born chicks.

Here they are in all their glory above the deck and under the eves of the roof.

The mom doesn't seemed to be annoyed to have company and is being very attentive to her young brood.

Glad to see they can use the protection to raise a new generation.
