Last Day . . .
I was proud to be the first person out the door when I went to see the sunrise again. When the sun came over the horizon the hills really did go this colour. The farm owners house is in the shot. Their 14,000 acre station runs both beef and sheep. When you leave the flat land by the coast the hills just go up. This land has been farmed since 1873 which is quite old for our young country. Activities today: the forester dived for paua/abalone, clean up the bach and pack up the truck again. Extras: these seals didn't mind us walking around them, the road onto the station.
